Californian band Levitation Room is returning to Barcelona!
After their appearance at the Barcelona Psych Fest in 2023, one of our favorites returns when we talk about psychedelic garage and lysergic pop from the west coast. With albums like “Ethos” or “Headspace”, the Los Angeles band has spent years fine-tuning a formula that connects the most nebulous lo-fi garage with pop melodies that you can’t stop humming for days.
With over 100 million streams accumulated on Spotify, Levitation Room have become one of the spearheads of psych garage worldwide. They’re back with new material: on May 22nd they’re releasing “Equinox”, an EP of five unreleased songs that opens a new stage for the band.
Gramola, a new band that mixes neo-psychedelia, progressive rock and echoes of Mediterranean folklore, will open the night. Among its ranks we find members of Teana, Elle León, Supermeganada, Celestial Bums… Come on, a kind of small local psychedelic supergroup. Impossible to miss them.
